The fiberglass bench he sat on has since been removed and placed into a museum to avoid being destroyed by the weather. The church where the feather first falls is about 100 yards just down the street from his bench. The bench is currently held in the Savannah History Museum, Savannah, Georgia.

Did you see that? That was one of my top 5 movies of all time! I am Forrest and you know who is Jen-nay.

Kinda sad, but true..........Mike Wilhelmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02888600231453002522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31751116.post-43843754485248971602008-03-25T16:32:00.000-04:002008-03-25T16:32:00.000-04:00Hey..a little facts about that globe in Savannah.....Hey..a little facts about that globe in Savannah...When it was originally painted, Australia was painted upside down...it was corrected in 1999. When it was repainted in 1999, it was painted to look the way the earth would from space and the hurricane was painted going clockwise...which was also later corrected. Just fun facts...in the Strange but True Georgia book by Lynne Hall... Savannah is a great city to visit, such a wonderful historic charm. I love it. Bf is exceptionally supportive of my photography habit. It is wonderful. I am very appreciative. Funny you should mention Lady and Sons. We were actually headed there after the carriage ride, but they had just closed between lunch and dinner, and the dinner list was already booked. We will have to do that some time.

Annie, One of my coolest posts??? Wow. Thanks! I have a few more pics of the Savannah Cathedral that I think I will post. Gosh, I hope the sax guy doesn't want royalties. Of course, 10% of nothing is nothing... so people, click on those ads... will ya, huh? I love keeping this blog. It's so much fun, and I have met so many wonderful people through it. I love your blog, and I maintain my position that you should write a column for the paper.Dewdrophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507315890846359262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31751116.post-17388890002169562182008-03-24T20:10:00.001-04:002008-03-24T20:10:00.001-04:00This is one of your coolest posts! I will spare you my corny jokes about the bunny shot...I would really love to know the story behind how that town got the name "Thunder Bolt." The guy playing the sax is going to contact you next week and demand royalties for using his likeness...hahaha. You're blog is getting SO big. That's okay...I'm not jealous, I have my three avid readers, and that's all of my insanity that needs to be spread!Queen Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10629854752493187508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31751116.post-21628236745845985452008-03-24T20:10:00.000-04:002008-03-24T20:10:00.000-04:00Glad you both had such a great time!
