As we drove through IL we were greeted to some decent skies, torrential rain, and gusty winds. Tornadoes to blizzards. We got it all on Sunday's drive. :)Josh Hermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10809581468183556700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31751116.post-36116069640305172012009-03-09T17:44:00.000-04:002009-03-09T17:44:00.000-04:00I agree that it'll fire further east if at all... ...I agree that it'll fire further east if at all... but like you, I'm not seeing an all out tornado-fest, and I am seeing the after dark potential, even with extra daylight. Thanks for your input. I can't imagine why you're so into forecasting... lolDewdrophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507315890846359262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31751116.post-18055529435150786662009-03-09T17:21:00.000-04:002009-03-09T17:21:00.000-04:00I'm gonna go out on a limb here and call this one ...I'm gonna go out on a limb here and call this one a possible no-go. I didn't chase today, and am glad. I think the best we can hope for during the daylight hours is one or two discrete cells to go up within the slight risk area with hail being the most severe parameter. Tornadoes may be more likely after dark further to the east, but I'm not forecasting for that scenario. Just an FYI. * I'm really getting into forecasting big time!!! :) *Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
