The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

My Teacher...

On the front page of Sunday's paper was an amazing shot by the man who will be teaching my digital photography class. It was a picture that he took from his house (I'm guessing - apparently he likes to put his life in danger too...) during Friday's storm (you know that one I had to miss for the redundant pirate movie... Arggg!). It is an amazing night shot of cloud to cloud lightning that tracks across the picture. I need him to teach me. I have to learn it.

Today's forecast is hopeful:

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA TODAY...ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AS THE HEAT OF THE DAY COMBINES WITH IN PLACE MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY. OVER NORTH FLORIDA...A SEA BREEZE IS EXPECTED BY THE AFTERNOON AND AS IT MOVES INLAND...IT WILL ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE MAIN THREAT TODAY FROM THE STORMS WILL BE STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL. AN ISOLATED SEVERE STORM WILL BE POSSIBLE.

I suppose it would be more hopeful if I wasn't in charge of my co-worker's retirement party this evening. I might get a chance to check it out though after the party. I look forward to it, after the party... I still haven't downloaded my rainbow shot.
