TS Florence is a massive system, and she seems to be trying to get her act together. Satellite imagery is getting more impressive, as it looks like she's trying to wrap around her center of circulation. Then, she will be a force. I am hearing everything from no US interests being impacted, to anywhere from Nova Scotia to Florida may be in her path. Can you say "covering all our bases"? Anyway, at this point, little change in intensity is noted. She's a tropical storm with 45mph winds, 1003 MB of pressure and a heavy convective portion in the northeast quadrant. She's out of balance. They expect hurricane by tomorrow...
Another wave is coming behind her, but development isn't favorable.
Locally, partly cloudy, chance of showers and thunderstorms... as usual. Blah, blah, blah... what's a storm chaser to do. No local storm, no major hurricanes. Blah.I have decided to share the really awesome orange flower I shot a picture of at the Arboretum in NC. It was a lonely flower.
