It's a vicious cycle. Temperature rises, moisture enters, rain falls, as a cold front approaches. Cold front robs us of all moisture... then temperatures gradually rise again. Today, the high is 55, and the low tonight is 32. They are actually hinting at a possibility of snow up in north GA. I haven't seen snow in such a long time... I wouldn't have a clue how to deal with it. I guess I would do like everyone else and rush out and buy up all the milk and bread before it arrives... then hunker down until it's gone, right??? lol With the next system forecast to arrive on Friday, I should have some time to get to know my new weather toy... as long as I don't have to spend too much of my time getting ready for our New Year's celebration. I think Hubby invited just about the whole town. If you are in town and you weren't invited, I am sure it was just an accidental oversite, stop on by...
Today, I will be heading out to shop for a new hamster for darling daughter. Yesterday, we cleaned up the cage really well to make sure that if the hamster had an illness that the subsequent hamster would not suffer the same fate. Wouldn't that be just terrible? I really hate that he had to die yesterday of all days. Poor little darling daughter.
Hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteLooks like I'll have an opportunity for some storm chasing prior to the new year. Let 2006 end with a boom!
