the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Hurricane Dean a Cat 2 already!!!

Time for the Lesser Antilles to start panicking. Holy Guacomole! As usual, you can watch the loop by clicking the picture above. He has really gotten his act together over the last few hours, looking much more massive and symmetric, and still strengthening... according to the NHC:

ONCE DEAN REACHES THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN AND MOVES OVER AN AREA OF VERY HIGH OCEAN HEAT...IT COULD BECOME A CATEGORY FOUR HURRICANE.
WOW!!! Forecasting a Cat 4!!! Currently, Hurricane Dean is a Category 2 Hurricane with maximum sustained winds at 100 mph, and a minimum central pressure of 979mb. He is bearing down hard on the Lesser Antilles. Looks like he has his sights set on the Island of Martinique. Watch out folks, ready or not, here he comes... in fact, looks like you're already feeling those outer bands... Heck of a storm coming right up! Once it hits the Gulf... it's free reign. He could go anywhere he wants to... and be devastating wherever he happens to go. Everyone on the Gulf Coast should have their eyes on Dean.Wow!
