The Lone Grove, OK tornado has been rated an EF-4 tornado, and with the death toll now officially at 9, after someone this morning passing as a result of injuries sustained by this devastating tornado. This makes the Lone Grove tornado the strongest and deadliest February tornado in Oklahoma history.

Unfortunately for a specific area in Oklahoma... it seems the sites of the storm were set on that area.... and it appears the most dismal scene is in Lone Grove, OK, where a powerful tornado is reported to have taken 15 lives.

With the radar signatures as strong as they were, I would have expected more reports of tornadoes, but the ones that did occur were powerful and deadly. God be with all those impacted.
