Good morning folks. Say hello to Hurricane Ernesto. He is the first Hurricane of this season. He doesn't look pretty yet, but they say he's undergoing huge changes and rapid intensification. He's barely a hurricane with 75 mph winds, but they expect him to be a Cat 2 hurricane by the time he hits Cuba. The path has changed drastically with the course cutting across central Florida via Tampa (or so) and reemerging in the Atlantic. Ernesto will be a force. There's no doubt.
Check these images.
Locally, a weak surface trough may produce some storms. Big deal. We have Ernesto.
I took my first radio class yesterday. It looks like on September 23rd, I will test for my Technician license. Then, I will be a HAM. :)
