Check out that sky shot...
We witnessed the wildest thing, darling daughter and I. As we were leaving the house going into the garage this morning, we heard a loud cracking sound. When we looked up, we saw in our neighbor's yard that a huge section of a tree there was falling down. It came down with a loud thud. Scared the bejeebers out of darling daughter. She was nervous as we drove through an umbrella of tree cover on our way to her school this morning, afraid that any of those would spontaneously fall.
Well, today's forecast... There are some SUPERCELLS off the coast of the panhandle, but they aren't expected to survive inland. In fact, they aren't forecasting anything for us out of this first line. They aren't sure of the intensity that the second line will bring, but not much is expected of it either, except isolated strong to severe thunderstorms. Looks like another disappointment... Oh well. Maybe another time... Conditions aren't great for seeing anything, lots of cloud cover, can't see any storm structure, heavy rain expected.
Locked Bear in the sunroom this morning. He didn't figure it out by the time we left. First time he tries to go through that doggie door though... oh well, that's what he gets. I must do this for his own good.
