Back to the weather... the NWS has issued a public information statement regarding the ratings on all 9 of the tornadoes in our CWA during the March 1-2, storm. Great report, Kelly!
As for the current local weather... VERY SIMILAR SET UP TO LAST NIGHT...SO THERE REALLY ISN`T MUCH TO ADD ON THIS TRANQUIL WEATHER PATTERN. TEMPERATURES TODAY WERE SOMEWHAT LOWER THAN EXPECTED THANKS TO PLENTY OF CLOUD COVER THAT DEVELOPED IN THE AFTERNOON IN THE MOIST EASTERLY FLOW. In my break room at work today, I was struck by the contrast of the crisp blue sky against patches of brilliant white, thick, swirling, boiling cumulus clouds as they worked to fill the sky. It was striking. Of course, it was short lived, as eventually a thick cloud deck formed, blocking all the brilliant blue... left temps beautiful though. Despite the "tranquil weather pattern" - translation... BORING, it really is beautiful, but we really could use the rain now, and I'm not just talking from the perspective of an overly eager storm chaser... lol
That's all I've got for tonight. I'm off to pack for my trip.
Have a great night!!!
