    It tickles me to no end to see the community of Pletcher mentioned online anywhere, especially on a friend's blog.

    I dated a girl in college---many, many, many years ago--- (and was good friends with her brother) whose father was a pastor of a very small holiness church in that community. She always called it a wide spot in the road. Pretty much the only thing there was that little church. It was mostly made up of elderly people from the community but they were some of the kindest folks I ever met in my life. Their prayers went a long way towards me coming to know the Lord. That made my day to see Pletcher mentioned here, Dewdrop.
