I have never seen a storm report map look quite like this... interesting. I noticed that there were three tornado reports in New Mexico today... fabulous... where was I??? Iowa. Sheesh.
That's all I've got. I'm headed to Kansas City, Missouri now. One step closer to heading home.

hey i left my phone at work today,
ReplyDeleteI got my dads camera and lens today!
give`me call tomorrow night if your not to tired.
Don't ya just hate when there is a slight risk right over the city your flying out of that day. :-)
ReplyDeleteThats ok - soon you'll be deep in tropical cyclone frustrations as wind shear that you normally want for Supercells, tears into your beautiful vertically stacked hurricane eyewall 36 hours before intercept.
I have about decided I can blame you for the 12" deficit in rainfall. Boo hiss! Well, I am so glad to see you are having fun, and Ted too. Dewvoid. I want to know who coined that phrase. Looks like you are well on your way to stardom, so he better obtain patent rights. XOXO
ReplyDeleteJess, Didn't get your message last night. Internet wasn't working at the hotel in KC, MO. How frustrating that was, huh? I am at KCI now awaiting my flight. I am really going to miss the crew. You and I definitely need to plan a chase!
ReplyDeleteJeff, Now you're just rubbing it in... aren't you just a ray of freaking sunshine on a high risk day, and I'm not talking clear slots... ;-) I watched a thunderstorm firing up on the way to the airport... Can you believe my luck?!
Bert, We have had a fabulous time! We learned so much, saw so much. Only thing that would have made it made would have been a tornado... I'll give Steve the shot at getting rights to the "Dewvoid"... it is, in fact, alive and well.
Stay tuned for the next installment of "Dewvoids gone wild"
ReplyDeleteCome on home Dew. Looking forward to all the stories!
