Gordon is still a hurricane, and he is trying to organize. He has reestablished convection at his core, and he's maintained his wind and his pressure has even dropped some. He doesn't want to stop.
Hurricane Helene is here, and she is a big one. Her eye is about 45-60 NM. Can you imagine??? She is packing 85mph winds, and the TPC is not sure where she's headed, but they are confident she'll restrengthen. Looks like there is still a danger of her hitting Bermuda. It's a rough year for Bermuda. There's a system off of Cape Verde Islands, but they don't expect anything from it.
Locally, sunny skies and hot temps. They've added rain to Monday's forecast. Cool. I actually got yard work done, not enough, found termites in my mulch and threw it away. I have plenty more beds to weed and mulch, so I'll need a lot more mulch or something... Hubby wants to use fake stuff... Tonight, we have indoor evening plans for darling daughter. Fun!
That's the weather for now.
