The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Weather Purgatory...

I cannot believe this weather... it's beautiful... High flying cirrus clouds, brilliant blue skies, cool air, but not cold, warm in the afternoons, not hot... but NO STORMS! And NOTHING in the forecast. It's weather purgatory for sure, and I am mesoscale deprived. I'm going through withdrawals... (sigh)

I took a picture of what appears to be the fix for my dog problem. One of hubby's friends, dropped off a ginormous roll of wire and huge wire cutters. I guess it's some sort of fencing, not exactly chicken wire, but won't that be attractive... so far, it's working OK to keep doggone dog in the sunroom and let him out back only when we are at home...

Had a yucky night... Darling daughter shared with us her stomach's dislike of pizza at about 11:30 last night. All over her bed. It's a good thing we've got a guest room because her bed was in bad shape... Poor kid, she loves pizza. It's her favorite food, but for some reason, her stomach can't stand it. No more pizza for her. It's just not worth it...

My co-workers are dolls. Many of them are leaving on a cruise tomorrow, which they do annually. Well, one of the people who had purchased tickets has backed out at the last moment... They tell me it's only $50 to transfer the ticket, and they will pay that if I will just go with them... They think for some reason I would be a blast (more adoring fans...) I can't do it though. I have too many responsibilities. I have company coming, darling daughter has a game, Christmas is coming, I would blow way too much money that I don't have right now... I wish I could be more spontaneous. I would love to be the type of person who maybe just once in a while, turns off the brain and just goes for it, you know? Yes, yes, I realize the opportunity I'm passing up... grumble, grumble.

I promised a sunset pic from the other day... They aren't as good as the ones I posted a while back, but this one is nice... I was seeing spots big time after taking that one...

My next posting, I'll share with you what a rope runner looks like... One was really right up my alley.

Ciao,

  1. .LONG TERM...(MONDAY-THURSDAY)
THE RIDGE SETTLES OFFSHORE OF THE SE REGION WITH ESE WINDS BECOMING
S MON NIGHT AND THEN SSW ON TUE AS THE RIDGE SHIFTS EAST AND THE
LINGERING FRONTAL BOUNDARY SETTLES ACROSS CENTRAL FLA. HOWEVER...
HIGH PRES AND DRIER AIR BEHIND THE FRONT WILL MAKE ONLY A BRIEF
APPEARANCE THRU EARLY MONDAY AS THE NEXT FRONT BEGINS TO APPROACH
OUR AREA LATE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. THEN...IT GETS TRICKY. GFS CONTS
TO DIVERGE FROM OTHER GLOBAL GUIDANCE. IF GFS VERIFIES...ABOVE
TROUGH ENTERING WEST TODAY REACHES EAST COAST ON TUESDAY/TUESDAY
NIGHT WITH POTENT LOW MOVING AROUND BASE AND ACROSS GULF COAST. IF
THE GFS PANS OUT...THIS COULD BE QUITE A POTENT STORM SYSTEM WITH A
WARM FRONT LIFTING N OF CWA TUE AND A SQUALL LINE MOVING THRU EARLY
WED. CONTRASTING GUIDANCE KEEPS TROUGH OVER CENTRAL CONUS WITH
NOTICEABLY WEAKER SW FLOW AND LOWER POPS OVER CWA.

  2. I love it when they say, "Then it gets tricky..." That translated to Dewdrop language means, "Nothing's gonna happen where you are, Dewdrop, so don't get your hopes up, chickie-poo!"

Hope for the best, but expect nothing...
