Enter the Sun

It's official, Amateur Radio 97 rules are being re-written to remove the morse code requirements for both General and Extra licenses, effective February 23rd... Can you say, Dewdrop may be getting her General or even the Extra Class License... I'm not a HAM hobbyist, but wouldn't it be cool? Yes, I know, I have a very warped sense of what's cool. (So, guess who will stop learning CW?) .-.-.

THE CLEARING IS IN SITE...FINALLY. Well, the word is that my order for sun will arrive on time. We should see that blazing orb by this afternoon. FINALLY... Though short lived, the glimpse will be much appreciated. The NWS is riding the fence with regard to temperatures. Will it get as cold as the operational guidance suggests, or will it fall more in line with the models? Stay tuned... I don't know. Bottom line is, it will be cold, definitely dewdrop-sicle weather, whether 20's or 30's, it will be COLD! Saturday and Sunday... rain... fabulous.

Future General HAM,
~Dewdrop
