the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Please can we fix it, please...

A dear friend of mine moved away many years ago, leaving behind a house that actually belongs to her disabled aunt, who is in a home. Unfortunately, over time, some of the property has suffered. Now, the neighbors are concerned that an out building might fall onto their property, possibly damaging their structure next door, so she, my dear friend, of course must fix it... Unfortunately, the house is located in the historic district, so she has to have permission to do anything... so she asked me to go and take pictures of the property , especially the out building... What do you think? Does it need to be fixed? It's not your eyes, it is that bad. The window picture was taken with the camera square with the ground... Unbelievable, right? Unfortunately, the out building is only perhaps 3 feet (maybe) from the awning of the neighbor's out building, so hopefully, they can get through all the formalities and get it fixed before it falls over. Cool part is that while I was there taking pictures, I discovered a pretty little purple floral weed (there I go again with the purple floral weeds...)

Some exciting news, I have started a team blog for our local chase team. It should be a great place for chase logs, pictures, videos, and whatever else the team members feel like posting there. It won't take the place of our original blogs, but it's there. Feel free to check out our blog. We are still working on the specific guidelines for our team, but we're off to a good start, and hey, we've got a blog, right? Now, we just need something to chase... lol

Afternoon AFD Update:
THE QPF REMAINS A BONE OF CONTENTION AMONG THE VARIOUS MODELS...WITH THE GFS CONTINUING TO SHOW THE MOTHER OF ALL RAINFALL MAXIMA OVER THE NORTHEAST GULF...AND THE NAM SHOWING HEAVIER RAIN MOVING FARTHER INLAND LATER WEDNESDAY EVENING. AFTER GETTING RID OF THE GFS QPF BULLSEYE... WE BLENDED THE NAM AND GFS TO COME UP WITH (HOPEFULLY) A MORE REALISTIC QPF... THE CAPE WILL INCREASE SO THAT IF DEEP MOIST CONVECTION IS
TRIGGERED...THERE WILL BE GREATER POTENTIAL FOR STORMS. IN FACT...THE DEEP LAYER VERTICAL WIND SHEAR VALUES WILL BE AROUND 40 KT ON WEDNESDAY...SO THERE IS STILL A POSSIBILITY FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. Wait and see... the Mother of All Rainfall Maxima... Jeff, are you serious?! lol

Toodles,

  1. Dew...I might be wrong but I think it needs to be fixed. You might want a second opinion though because I have a bad crick in my neck and I am walking around with my head tilted at an angle...
