Well, here you have it TD 13. Man, those tropics have really come to life now. It's pretty amazing to watch. Anyhow, we have TD 13 formed out of that convective mess in the GOM, looks like it is headed to Mexico... boy, they have been slammed this year, huh? Shouldn't be more than a tropical storm at landfall, but you know how that goes.
Karen is looking pretty spectacular as she gets her act together. I am keeping a watchful eye on her. She is a fish in my gut, but you never can tell and if she gets more intense at her current size, she will be a ferocious beast on land.
Anyway, time to get ready for getting ready for bed. Yes, I meant to say it that way.

I know! I started to get really antsy watching the tropical update this morning. She should be a hurricane soon!!! And, we should have TS Lorenzo by the end of the day... then the "tropical disturbance over FL, and the mess over the Lesser Anntilles. Oh, and then a new wave off of Africa... the tropics have awakened.
