The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Let me just say... OMG!

OK, so my pulse has finally come back down to the double digits, and I am starting to get the oxygen flowing in my brain again. I traveled up to Perry, GA yesterday to the Georgia National Fair... State/National... interesting. Anyway, I had the most incredible 2nd ROW seats for the Daughtry concert last night. For those of you who don't know, Chris Daughhtry was one of the American Idol contestants who had a voice that gave me goosebumps, but for some reason beyond my control, he didn't win. He wasn't a conventional AI contestant, a rocker, with an incredible sound. From the moment I heard him in auditions, I knew that he would go far, awesome! Anyway, I went to see the man... I went, and I drooled, and I had a wonderful time. Here are some awesome pictures of the man, and then I'll get into the rest of it... Well, then, the concert was over, and he got down onto the floor (with heavy guard), and walked along the front of the stage!!! OK, let's guess where Dew was... We had disconnected the chairs in front of us before the concert, in case the off chance that such an opportunity would present itself, so, as soon as I saw his sexiness hop off of that stage, I was on the job. I moved that chair and walked right up to the wall that would put me within a hands reach of Chris Daughtry, and wouldn't you know it... a hand reach is exactly what I got. The man reached out and held MY HAND!!!! I snapped this pic while he approached... no zoom here, he was THAT close!!! My knees were weak walking back to my seat. The people on the higher level were so excited for me, they gave me a high five. Trying to steal my Chris mojo cells, no doubt. lol. Did I mention that he came out to sing with the opening band, Day of Fire, wearing a Red Sox cap...? Never been prouder about being from Boston... OK, since I sound like a raving lunatic fan... (which I most likely am)... I will let it go for now, but let me say, what a concert! 2nd row seats! I am in heaven. I think I'll just float around for now with my head in the clouds. Oh, that's right, what clouds...? lol

Of course, I had a wonderful day at the fair! It was the perfect day for it! The weather was beautiful. I had a wonderful time strolling around seeing all the fair sites, snapping pics, here and there. I have probably got several mini-posts that I will get to with time, but for now, here are some fair shots... enjoy...All in all, a most spectacular day!

As for weather, beautiful and dry here, but a nice setup for the plains. The SPC is saying...

KINEMATIC ENVIRONMENT ACROSS THE SRN AND CNTRL PLNS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR SUPERCELLS. BUT ANY SUPERCELLS THAT CAN REMAIN DISCRETE WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING TORNADOES...ESPECIALLY THIS EVENING/EARLY TONIGHT FROM CNTRL INTO SW OK AND PERHAPS NW TX AS LOW-LVL SHEAR/ASCENT STRENGTHEN WITH CONTINUED E/NE MOTION OF SRN SPEED MAX.
This morning, I briefly spoke with David who is gearing up for some chasing later today. Incidentally, he did an update, just for me! lol. Lucky dogs out that way. I hope all the chasers exercise caution. Be safe, live to chase another day.

Did I mention that Chris Daughtry held my hand...? :D

Toodles,

  6. LL, you are adorable. The cows were so sad though... They were strapped to these walls, and so close to each other, couldn't even move around. Most had tear trails on their faces. Made me want to cry. If I didn't love meat so much, it MIGHT have prompted me to become a vegetarian. Love you too, LL!!!

    Mike, It's fun up here in there here clouds. What an awesome time I had!

    Jess, Thanks. I had a fabulous time. It was perfect in every way. Flying way above the overshooting top with this one... ;-)
