A tropical depression... Wha?

That's right folks, Tropical Depression 15 has arrived on the scene, looking thoroughly unimpressive (pretty naked), facing a heavily sheared environment, over cooler SSTs, tracking east, expected to weaken. I am going to take a wild stab at forecasting a whole lotta nothing out of this thing. I wouldn't be singing Christmas carols just yet... we will not have "The First Noel" with this one. Boy, was that cheesy or what...?!

Leaving the tropics, since there is SO MUCH going on there (eye roll), local temps this morning... are you ready for this? 46 degrees! I am relieved to have a digital thermostat that switches between heating and cooling automatically, because I would have otherwise awakened as a Dew-cicle. The forecasted lows for the next few days are in the 50's. Of course, I have outdoor plans tonight. Dewdrop will be layering... That cold front is dipping down into Southern Florida, so Annie, it's headed your way. It should be cooling off for you really soon.

Man, it's such a bummer when the weather stinks... One good thing, it appears folks in the plains are facing quite the set up for this weekend. There is a ton of chatter out there about big chase plans this weekend... Everyone be safe, and have fun!!! As for the pic, I took it leaving work one day back in February of this year. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE a beautiful sunset?
