Well, I am so glad I was prepared for the cold weather today... the temp was 39 degrees, when we went out to wait on the bus, but with the winds blowing at 10mph, the wind chill was down to 35. It was a cold day waiting at that bus stop. Mini-Dew actually left her jacket at school yesterday... another tactic, no doubt... but, have no fear, Dewdrop to the rescue. I had another coat for her. Ha ha, jokes on her. Temps continue to plummet as the cold front has arrived.
With nothing except coldness going on in weather, there isn't a whole lot going on worhy of talking about. Sort of sad. The good news is that potentially severe weather is on its way according to the models. I will keep an eye to that and keep you posted... otherwise...
Update: At about 12:56, the Space Shuttle, Discovery flew over my office on its way to Kennedy Space Center. It was so high in the atmosphere that it was difficult to discern it from another plane, except no contrail was offered, and you could see the sunlight reflecting off of it's underside. It was escorted by two jets. Minutes later, no more than 5-10 minutes later, it landed at Kennedy Space Center... AMAZING! Sadly, I missed the whole blasted thing. Darn the bad luck.
Toodles,
~Dewdrop

ReplyDeleteHere's hoping... I am tired of cold temps being my only bloggable subject.
