Oh the weather outside is frightful...

OK, my dear Winder friend got her children a $4,000 playground set for Christmas, all excited that they would have something to do... outside... Since the playground set arrived, there has been a steady cold misting rain each day, all day. How sad... The kicker comes today. She has invited everyone over for a big Christmas dinner, and the plan is to have the kids play outside... no such luck, it's misting again. Darn, huh?

I had an insane day yesterday. I attended a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese for a 3 and a 1 year old. That was... fun. cough cough. It wasn't horrible, but I did find myself shrinking into a hole to try to escape the chaos. Yikes... I did capture some adorable shots. Something about a 1 year old eating cake on their birthday, great photographable moment. After leaving there, I drove down to spend time with my mom and her friends and then had to drive back up... which meant, yet another trip through Bethlehem... This time, as we were driving through, they had the living nativity performance in the middle of town. I had to stop, of course. How could I pass up the opportunity to see the living nativity performed in Bethlehem...? It's unthinkable. The pictures didn't come out fabulously, but I did capture some video, but it won't upload. We might go back tonight. If I do, I will bring a tripod. I hope the weather cooperates.

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
