Well, remember when I said that the tropical wave off NC wouldn't do anything after they said it would... Check what they're saying now:
SHOWER ACTIVITY HAS INCREASED SLIGHTLY THIS MORNING IN ASSOCIATION WITH AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 125 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE COASTS OF NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA. A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD STILL FORM LATER TODAY OR TONIGHT...BEFORE UPPER-LEVEL WINDS BECOME MORE UNFAVORABLE FOR SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT ON THURSDAY.
AN AIR FORCE RESERVE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT IS EXPECTED TO INVESTIGATE THE SYSTEM THIS AFTERNOON.
Could be #4, maybe... perhaps... who knows???
... and it's raining..., but I think it's over now. Just a small line Atlantic sea breeze from the looks of it. Our county was pretty much inundated though (on radar), didn't spot anything impressive.
