There WAS a tropical wave in the Western Caribbean that appeared to be developing... so much for that, it won't develop now that it's over Central America. There are some interesting satellite images off the coast of Africa. Everything else, of course, has fallen apart. Well, that was fun while it lasted, huh?
Locally, we can expect the typical afternoon showers and thunderstorms, but definitely not a widespread severe weather event. The big story seems to be the heat. Very high temps are expected to invade the area during the next few days.... yuck. Expecting temps to approach the century mark... a little bit of "s" word talk wouldn't be so bad, right about now. After just paying the power bill, I am not digging the forecast.
That's all I've got... off to clean the house now.

It's starting to look like late August before we have any real development in the tropics.....Dust, Dry Air, and consistent Shear have it looking tough for at least the next 10 days. Chance of POPs here today and tonight so I have all my batteries charged up.

ReplyDeleteMikey... don't you know that if you don't have anything nice to say... you're not supposed to say anything at all??? You're breaking my heart... ;-) Hope you were able to catch something.
ReplyDeleteMichael, Hot here too! *UGH* is right, and I have to mow the lawn. I think I have put it off long enough... well, maybe just a quick blog post...
