the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

While the Dew's Away... the Storms may Play

Busy, busy day, so this will be brief. I am working to quickly finish my work today, so that I can try to make it to "Alvin and the Chipmunks", which I promised Mini-Dew we would see. Of course, thanks to a sneak preview of "27 Dresses", whatever that is, they dropped the 7:20 showing, and the only one I can make is at 9:45. The good news is that she can sleep the entire way to Orlando tomorrow. Yes, headed to Orlando tomorrow. Big plans to stay at one of the resorts there and visit the Animal Kingdom. You know what that means... pictures coming up soon.

Of course you can tell that I will be leaving tomorrow, as the forecast has begun to look more and more interesting. The SPC has placed a large portion of the southeastern CONUS under a slight risk for severe weather, and if that timing changes at all... it could easily encompass South Central GA... You know how likely that is with me leaving? Alabama Mike says they should go ahead and put a high risk out for my area. lol

When I return home, I will be preparing for a New Year's Eve "party", which you are welcome to join me for. Just come on by and bring a dish to share. Should be a nice casual fun time.

Toodles,
~Dewdrop

  6. Hey Jenn...
Have a safe and fun trip to Orlando! Can't wait to see the pix you take too! I like the Third Day song, "when the rain comes." It does look like some rain headed our way. Next time you go towards Bethlehem we should hook up for lunch. I'm only 30 minutes west of there! :o) Have a great 2008!

  9. I see a tornado watch out to your distant west already today. Looks like a squall with some cells out ahead of it. I saw that and thought of you, even though it's still a ways out west for you. Of course in plains distances, it's just "right over there!" LOL

I felt that little tinge of excitement seeing the radar on that. March 1st is only 2 months away!!

  10. First off, let me start by saying that I will not be posting ridiculous anonymous comments, so dear anonymous, quit wasting my time rejecting comments.

Annie, HA! Still laughing... You'll notice I didn't swing by for her... lol! See you tomorrow.

David, It's "right over there" perhaps when you are right there without your young skittish child and not traveling with someone else out of town... sigh. The reverese Dewvoid strikes again. By the time you left that comment, I was chillin' by the pool in sunny Florida being attacked by sea gulls. LOL! The cure to SDS is right around the corner.
